Actify Adopts PTC's Granite One to Advance Design Visualization for the Pro/ENGINEER User Community

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif - September 13, 2001 - Actify, Inc. announced today that it has signed an agreement with PTC (Nasdaq: PMTC), the Product Development Company¯, to incorporate Granite¯ One into its solutions. Actify adds significant value to the worldwide Pro/ENGINEER user community with its popular desktop and web-based visualization solutions. Granite One is an interoperability platform based on the unmatched geometry, feature and data exchange capabilities at the core of Pro/ENGINEER•, PTC's market leading mechanical computer-aided design software. As a Granite One adopter, Actify intends to deliver enhanced solutions for design access and visualization to customers using Pro/ENGINEER and other CAD applications built on Granite.

Actify's visualization solutions offer viewing, measurement, and markup of 3D and 2D designs regardless of file format. A powerful blend of advanced features such as cross-sectioning and assembly navigation can be found in 3DView, Actify's desktop visualization environment, and SpinFire, Actify's Web-based publish-and-view solution featuring the free browser-based SpinFire Viewer. Granite One gives Actify customers a seamless link to the data in Pro/ENGINEER and other Granite-based engineering solutions, making 3D content readily accessible to the design enterprise.
